I'm back from Akicon! AND HOLY SHIT IT WAS SO GOOD. ;3;

RECAP!!:

THURSDAY : Drove up with some Oregon kids (aka artamisalbrya, UserAndTheUsed, and PhantomThief ) and checked in. Once again we were on the SAME FLOOR AS THE CON WHICH MEANT NO ELEVATORSSS. AND THERE WAS A CREEK OUTSIDE OUR WINDOW, WITH A MAGESTICAL HAREN STANDING IN IT.

FRIDAY : Got our badges since we didn't pre-reg, and lurked around in HTTYD! With UserAndTheUsed as our Toothless and alsd;jfasldfsd it was so cuuuute! ;3; Also searched for a Human Palace, but settled on Human Garden instead. Tradition happened and Valdrein tagged along for the Human-nessesses.

SATURDAY : Still dressed in How to Train Your Dragon, again, everyone b'aawed over it, especially Toothless. 8'D; PhantomThief and I were invited to a dinner, and bro bonding time happened with Valdrein, ManaFromHeaven, twinfools, VandorWolf, Heimdallll, Satsori! With is-teh-lurvz trolling in later. IT MUST HAPPEN EVERY CON, YOU GUYS. D8 Then everyone flailed around at the rave, tragedy struck (in a good way) and the night ended with ji-hwan kicking everyone's ass at Super Smash. xD;;

SUNDAY : Was Kingdom Hearts day! Hung out with is-teh-lurvz, VandorWolf and twinfools as Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas and Axel. We discussed is-teh-lurvz's creek, before getting a tour and photos. Then we somehow managed to stuff our car crew back into the CR-V with two extra attachments back to Seattle for lunch/dinner. We ate at a delicious Asian bs restaurant and discussed celebrity Cosplays. xD; AND THEN IT WAS A RUSH AGAINST TIME TO DROP CANADIANS OFF AT THEIR BUS BEFORE IT TOOK OFF INTO THE DISTANCE. BUT WE MADE IIIITTT! We then flailed back to Oregon-land, b'awwed, then went to sleep.

I MISS EVERYONE. ILU ALL. ;3; <333

So Kumoricon was a flop, but I wasn't expecting it to be the same awesome con it was two years ago. It was kind of a last minute decision anyway. But what I did like about it is that it was so RELAXING AND DRAMA FREEEEE. Which was really nice. It was also good to see the few people that chose to attend the con. Next year I will definitely be attending PAX in Seattle, as I've heard wonderful stories about that convention. I think it's time to explore other cons, anyway. XD

Akicon's coming up, and I'm really excited to work on my lineup for it! Our plans are to have a Harry Potter group, which sounds really comfy and warm! I'll be Cosplaying Ginny Weasley, so if you see me say hi! I'm also going to try and get Saya from Blood+ together, and I'm hoping to have a Haji to tag along with me. 8D Other then those two, I'll probably just hang out in normal clothing and lurk about. X3

So that was just a quick update, as I've been very busy with my two jobs and trying to make time to see my sister, who's been in the hospital with Meningitis. D: Hope you're all doing well!

I'm going! 8D Our new addition to the household is able to pay Septembers rent, which makes rent and bills very cheap, and my hours at Gamestop have just sky-rocketed from what they were previously.

I'll be there Sat, Sun, and Mon! As far as Cosplay goes, there's nothing new. I'll be bringing Seras Victoria, Axel, and possibly Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon. Keep a look out for me and come say hi if you see me!

Also, the 7th is PhantomThief's and I's two year anniversary! Last year it was during the con, this year it's the day after the con. She'll be my Roxas, as always, and my Hiccup if we get around to fixing up the HTTYD gear. <3

Yo yo! It's been a while since I've updated my deviantart. I've been neglecting it quite well these past few months. I have some news that I'd like to share!

As of late, I haven't really been working on Cosplay--at all. Long story short, my sister quit her job working for my mother rather abruptly, and I've had to fill her spot. My Gamestop job has been pretty non-existent as I haven't gotten any hours in the past three weeks. I'm also obtaining another roommate in September to make things cheaper. I owe some money to a few people, and despite me working at the shop a lot, I'm still having financial trouble.

This leads me to Kumoricon! I don't want to worry over hotel business, I could probably afford it if I wanted to, but the con follows right after our rent is due, and I'd much rather pay off my debts than stress in a hotel room for three days. =/ I'm not going to purchase a badge; I don't go to panels, and I'm not going to bother with the dealers ally if I have no money in the first place. I'm also usually too tired to go to the raves at night /old person D8 So really, buying a badge would just be a souvenir that I can do without this year.

I'll more than likely make an appearance, as for what to wear involving Cosplay, well I have no idea yet. XD; I might try and get something done, but real life has taken over for the moment.

Once school starts--if it starts (Financial aid and I have our issues) I'll be able to get back into the groove of things, because honestly, I miss the Cosplay community. ;3; Unfortunately, bills, responsibility, and being an adult comes first.

Either way, I'm sure I'll see some of you, if only during the day.
